Message : not true. if you run out of propane, you lean out your motor. if you run out of water, you run out of water.

: : "it's a fuel, so if you ever run out, your screwed. no limp home mode"

: : False statement, the propane is only used over a certain pre-set boost level.

: ok. so if you run out, and your maps are tuned for propane, you lean out over a certain preset boost level

I believe you have the same problem with water...Didn't you guys advance the timing when you did the water injection? So you are actually running a very advance timing that will cause detonation above a certain boost level? Correct? I know I read about this when I was looking into getting the Aqua-mist kit you guys put together.

I think that is the same situation, just different tuning scenario, it is much easier to set the boost controller for a low level boost when out of propane, then re-adjust the timing when out of water...

: : "requires a bottle heater and presurization"

: : How is this a Con?

: if you dont have heat and pressurization, you don't have the same amount of propane being delivered. delivery is based on pressure

: : "requires rigourous fuel map tuning"

: : Just the same as when you do Water Injection, or change your boost level.

: not true. with or without water, I can run the same fuel maps.
: propane is a fuel, water is not.
: propane requires a different fuel map then an non-propane injected car.
: no propane, your maps are now off. possible considerably

So again, your timing is advanced with the Water, so your fuel maps are also off, same situation.

: I hope you are documenting everything and will post a thorough Procurement, Install, Tuning, Dyno, Results post as I did with Aquamist.
: Until it's done, it's all hear say. Everything I mentioned is from research I did on the internet from people who actually installed it.

Yes we have up until this point, we will have more info once we are finished.
